Type of student: PhD or MPhil only

Prerequisite skills: Nil essential requirements however background experience in basic research methods and data analysis in SPSS would be highly regarded.

This project explores the relationship between Frailty and mobility outcomes among older in-patients undergoing rehabilitation within the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Unit (GARU) at Princess Alexandra Hospital. A frailty index is derived from routinely collected clinical assessment.Progression of mobility is derived from completed physiotherapy assessments using the Hierarchical Balance and Mobility tool.

An immediate start is preferred. Completion date will be determined by MPhil requirements and dependent on start date.
