Brief synopsis:

Australia's newest digital hospital is being built at the Herston quarter: the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS). This project aims to understand the impacts of digitising healthcare.

Parameters in the fields of quality and safety, efficiency and consumer and staff experience will be examined. A diverse and large team is running this innovative project, and students will be welcomed and supported, and will be taught the basics of clinical informatics and the processes involved in extraction and analysis of data from digital health systems.
