Jo is a Senior Lecturer in the PCCU. Her current role includes assisting with delivery of the Year 2 Urban LInCC program as well as GP practice engagement and support which involves visiting GP teachers in the workplace to discover more about clinical teaching in the workplace and students’ learning experiences. In addition Jo continues to facilitate weekly tutorials for 3rd year students in their GP rotation which she has been doing since 2009. These combined roles provide rewarding opportunities and exciting challenges which she enjoys immensely.

 Jo has been a General Practitioner for over ten years, working in a large group practice in Albany Creek on the north side of Brisbane. Jo highly values the supportive collegiate environment within her practice. She is also an accredited GP Registrar supervisor and enjoys working with junior colleagues, helping them prepare for their Fellowship examinations.

Outside of work Jo enjoys time with her husband and family, hiking Mt Coot-tha or riding her road bike. She also loves catching up with friends over a good coffee, travel and visiting places of historical interest.
