Dr Crossland is the Project Manager (Diabetic Retinopathy Screening and Monitoring in General Practice) and has been appointed Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the APHCRI CRE in Primary Health Care Microsystems.

Lisa was previously the Research Manager for Professor Craig Veitch, Rural Health Research Unit, James Cook University. She was the Queensland Coordinator of a 3-state study investigating the role of general practice in the diagnosis and management of colorectal cancer.

Her research interests relate to health service delivery, program evaluation in primary health care and innovative approaches to clinical service delivery in general practice and primary health care.

She is a member of the Australian Association of Academic Primary Care (AAAPC).
