Amelia is an Associate Lecturer with a teaching focus in the Division of General Practice and a full-time practising GP in Clayfield, Brisbane. 

Amelia's junior doctor training was undertaken at Redcliffe Hospital followed by General Practice training in Scarborough and Clayfield. She started work with UQ in 2015 as an Academic GP Registrar and has stayed on to continue learning and working.  She has a passion for medical education with a strong interest in student wellbeing and supportive medical education models.

Dr Amelia Stephens is an early career researcher, interested in the fields of complementary and integrative medicine, alcohol behaviour change, Australian Primary Care and quality General Practice.
