Therese is a University of Queensland alumnus and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Her General Practice experience has encompassed metropolitan, rural and regional settings. She has additional experience in hospital-based outpatient medicine, having established and provided clinical leadership to Breast Screen Queensland Wide Bay Service for many years.
She currently also has a visiting appointment to Wide Bay Sexual Health Clinic and is actively involved in educational activities and assessment in the RACGP. She is responsible for the General Practice rotation delivered at the Bundaberg Rural Clinical School as Discipline Team Lead and has been involved with the Bundaberg Rural Clinical School since 2012. Her clinical interests are in sexual and reproductive health and clinical handover.
