3. Punctuality

Students are expected to be on time for all learning activities as a matter of courtesy, and late attendance may be considered equivalent to non-attendance. Additionally, late arrival for certain practical activities, such as procedural skills, may result in a student being unable to participate in the activity. Similarly students who leave a required learning activity may be marked as absent if they have missed a significant period of the session. The tutor or teaching staff supervising the session will have discretional responsibility for decision making and for arbitrating in disputed instances.

Students who are routinely late and are marked absent will be referred to the Investigating Officer in accordance with the Fitness to Practise Policy. Repeated absences will result in a student facing failure of the course.
