Very welcoming medical staff that understood the role of a student and engaged us accordingly.

The friendly medical community and frequent social events made the placement much more enjoyable, and it was also really good having interns/RMOs on placement here to spend time with.

Honestly, very happy with the Goondiwindi RRM program. Half of the placement was spent at the hospital, and the other half of the placement was spent at the medical centre, allowing both facets of health services here to be experienced. Another highlight of the placement for me was the ability to travel with a doctor over the border to the clinic they run in the indigenous town of Boggabilla, providing another great insight into the specific health needs that are present in the rural setting.
