What support can I get as a medical student?

We want you to get the most out of your medical studies and to enjoy your time at the University of Queensland. To assist you on your journey throughout the medical program, resources are available to you in the form of medical student support services.

Please see our student support contacts page to determine the best place for you to seek assistance.

Medical Student Support includes a range of bespoke services including pastoral and wellbeing, academic and medical careers.

UQ also provides the following services for all students:

Bullying, harrassment, and discrimination

The UQ Faculty of Medicine is committed to fostering an environment in which students are treated with integrity and respect. Medical students are encouraged to raise any concerns regarding bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, and discrimination that they experience during the course of their studies. This pack provides a resource for students seeking to understand these concepts further and to resolve any issues they face.
