John Snow Scholarship in Public Health Medicine - Applications closing 8 October 2018

14 Jun 2018

Every year the Australasian Faculty of Public Health offers nine Scholarships for medical students in Australia and New Zealand John Snow Scholarship who are interested in Public Health. The aim of these scholarships is for students to reflect on their work and the learnings they have taken from it, giving them a rounded view of the scope of public health. It also offers them the experience of giving presentations of their research.

Each region, state and territory holds a competition, with the recipient from this event going on to the RACP congress to present in a national competition. Past students have commented on how this experience increased their confidence with presenting, the networking opportunities this has opened up for them, and increased their understanding of the impact and scope of Public Health Medicine.

Closing date: Monday 8 October 2018
